School Tour To Crag Caves
We went on our school tour recently to Crag Caves. We had a wonderful day out and learned lots about cave formations as well as getting to see some stalagmites and stalactites.
We had great fun afterwards in the activity center where we did the climbing wall and played in the ball pen amongst other activities!!
We even got to ride a bucking bronco!!!
We had a great day out and were all exhausted, but very happy on our return to school!!
Our Art lessons are always a source of great joy in the 1st and 2nd class room. We love experimenting with colour and creating wonderful displays for our wall. They really brighten up our class room. Here is some work we did recently creating hot air balloons. Maybe some day some of us will be famous aviators!!!
We had great fun throughout this year with both Miss Fitzgerald, and then with our new teacher Miss Egan who taught us at the end of the year. We did lots of really fun and interesting activities during the year including our Art classes and our walks in the lovely woods near our school. Here are some photos taken during these activities.
We can’t wait to see what fun things we will do next year and look forward to learning loads of new cool and interesting things.
Miss Fitzgerald with her class, hoping to add up their laps of the pitch to meet their destination. Their planned route is on display here, and their targets are being achieved. Well done 1st and 2nd class!
