Mad Hatters Easter Party

On our final day before the break for Easter holidays, we had a day of great celebration in school. As part of a fundraiser for St. Pats CLG who very generously loaned us hurling equipment, we had a fundraiser where each child came in wearing a hat of their own choosing. Children were encouraged to be as creative as possible and the results were spectacular, to say the least. Rinne gach duine an-iarracht leis, Philip Treacy watch out!!

To tie in with the theme of Seachtain na Gaeilge earlier in the year, bhí céilúiradh mór againn ar scoil. We were treated to a gala musical production where everyone sang, played the tin whistle and danced sets as well as some traditional Irish dancing.

The entire school sang pop songs as Gaeilge, recitited dánta, played the tin whistle agus rinne na páistí i rang Ms. Coffey Haka as Gaeilge do na ranganna eile. Bhí siad ar fheabhas ach beagánín scanrúil!!!!!!!! 🙂  🙂  🙂
