Sam Maguire

We were very lucky here in school when the Sam Maguire arrived for a visit brought by captain Kieran O Leary and Jack Sherwood. They arrived driving a very flashy car which was painted in the Kerry colours.

Everyone had their Kerry Jerseys and flags with them and the two stars got a rousing reception when they arrived out to our All Weather field where the whole school was there to greet them.

We all got to hold the cup and the two lads answered loads of questions we had for them. Hopefully they will be back again next year with the trophy and who knows, maybe some of us will be back some day with an All Ireland trophy!! Thanks to Kieran and Jack for what was a wonderful occasion.
